about

"Streaks of Terror" is the standalone full-length recording from NoVA/DC thrash-inspired hardcore kids CRESTFALLEN. Effectively the "little brothers" of older bands like Pageninetynine, Majority Rule, Corn on Macabre, and others in the immediate community, the album was written and recorded while all of the members were in their teens and booking DIY shows for themselves and for their friends with regularity.

An essential band and critical part of the health and vitality of the early 00's DIY hardcore/punk scene, CRESTFALLEN was mature beyond their years, both musically (what other teenagers knew about VIO-LENCE, let alone covered them at the time?) and in how they carried themselves. It was no wonder that fellow musicians and show attendees gravitated and supported accordingly.

A much needed thanx to Brent and Willie Dictionary for making it happen, Mike Oblivion, our punk rock parents pg.99 and Majority Rule, The index, Mannequin, The Greyscale, and Corn on Macabre, Jake, Marco, Sean, past mosh dogs Richard and Fat JD, Matt Kemp, Crazy Mike Widman, VIO-LENCE, The Kuntbergs and their basement, and the rest of our families and friends, anyone who has helped us with shows, extra thanks to Chris, JR, Will, Eric, and The Grindfather for the gang vocals, also mike for the photos. We love you.
